Join us for a exciting two hour workshop that
will have youth engaged in exciting hands-on activities, watch
spectacular demonstrations, participate in inquiry-based discussions
and take home things that they have made themselves...youth will
learn just how cool science can be!! Class to be taught by Mad
Science of Southeastern, CT

HIP HOP JAZZ DANCE

Fee: $10 per person |
This fun and energetic two hour class will start off by learning the
basic movements and steps of Hip Hop Jazz during the first half of
class, and then youth will learn a choreographed dance routine. No
experience is necessary and if you like this program, a more in
depth seven week program will be offered starting in February.

GENERAL INFORMATION:

All programs will be held
at Preston Veterans Memorial School Gym. Preston Veterans
Memorial School students should bring a note into their
teacher stating they will be staying afterschool to
participate in Preston Youth Services' afterschool program
on the date of the activity. Preston Plains School students
should take their regular afternoon buses and bring a note
with them letting the bus driver know they will be getting
off at Preston Veterans Memorial School. |

Space is limited. All
registrations will be processed on a first-come first-serve
basis |

BUS TRANSPORTATION
AFTER PROGRAMS: School bus transportation will be
offered at the conclusion of these programs for those youth
who need a ride home. There is an additional fee of $5.00
per day for bus transportation. Bus transportation requests
must be received in writing at least (2) days in advance. |
